Daniels Insurance Agency
Coverage for the “Toys” We Purchase
Daniels Insurance Agency is a full-service insurance firm, providing coverage for your cars, home, and other valuables. We also know that here in the Land of Enchantment, many residents love their ATVs and snowmobiles, and we’re ready to help you insure them and the liability exposures that come with these vehicles.
Whether you use an all-terrain vehicle for light-duty work around your property or just use it for joy riding, you want to insure it against theft or serious damage. Adding comprehensive coverage to your ATV insurance policy offers you protection if your vehicle is damaged by something outside of a collision, such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood or falling objects.
You also want collision coverage should your ATV get badly damaged in an accident that is your fault. Collision insurance covers damage from stationary hazards, such as hitting a hidden tree stump or a large rock. Collision coverage doesn’t address minor harm, such as dents and other cosmetic damage, since most ATVs are subject to that from daily use.
If someone is injured or his or her property is damaged due to your ATV use, you could be held responsible for restitution. You could even be sued. The liability portion of your ATV policy will help pay for your legal defense and payouts you are liable for, up to the limits of insurance stated in your policy.
Also, if you are hit by someone with too little or no insurance at all, you may need help to pay your repair and recovery bills. If you have uninsured motorists insurance/underinsured motorists insurance under your ATV policy, your insurance company will pay for what the at-fault party is legally liable for, up to your coverage limits. Your lost wages related to the accident may also be included in that coverage.
We can provide many coverage options for your snowmobile. Our snowmobile insurance policies can cover bodily injury liability if you cause an accident that hurts someone else; property damage liability if you are at fault for damage to their property through use of your snowmobile; collision coverage, which will pay for repairs to your snowmobile if damaged in an accident; and comprehensive coverage to help out if your snowmobile is stolen or damaged from something other than a collision, such as vandalism or a fire.
Some of our insurer partners will also cover safety apparel, the trailer you use to transport your snowmobile, and extra equipment such as towables and sleds used with your snowmobile. Custom seats and windshields may also be included.
Different users require different coverage, so we will do a thorough analysis of your riding style and usage. Infrequent users or weekend trail riders may receive a different premium and coverage than more aggressive snowmobilers.
